Lorraine Wall
County Clare native, Lorraine Wall studied at Limerick School of Art and Design from 1973 to 1979 and has subsequently exhibited extensively  both nationally and internationally.

In 1987, Wall was awarded the Douglas Hyde Gold Medal at the Oireacthas exhibition. From1989 to 1997 she was a visiting lecturer at L.S.A.D. and has also given workshops at the National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin. She has been awarded numerous residencies including;
The Tyrone Guthrie Centre; Cill Rialaig; Can Serrat International Arts Centre, Barcelona. Her last solo exhibition “Now to Next” (2002) held at Glor Gallery received much criticalacclaim. In 2004, Wall curated a major exhibition of leading Irish artists at Glor Gallery. Her
work is held in many private and public collections including the Bank of Ireland, AIB, Bord Telecom, Smurfit Ireland, University of Limerick, Dublin City University, Insurance Corporation of Ireland, and the Taoiseach’s office, Leinster House, among others. From 2000 – 2005, Wall served as a board member of the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
